Junior Strength Training Program

The Junior Strength Training Program at Central Penn Fitness & Aquatic is a complimentary but mandatory program for children between 12-15 who want to participate using the functional equipment in our club. Our Junior Strength Program allows our Fitness Professionals to guide and educate young exercisers with proper form and safety. In addition, it provides a fitness foundation that helps promote a healthy and fit lifestyle in a young person’s fitness journey.

The Junior Strength Program consists of three 45-minute appointments with one of our Certified Personal Trainers. During this time, your child will experience the fundamental exercises of our functional equipment while gaining an understanding of safe warm-up and cool-down techniques. In addition, your child will understand how to set and revise goals as fitness levels increase. The major muscle groups are identified and a base understanding of how amazing the body is, especially when setting foundations for a healthy life. Upon completion of the program, your child will have access to the functional training area of the facility to practice everything they have learned, while still under parental supervision.

These sessions are great stepping stones of lifelong lessons which are crucial advantages from the athletic field to the classroom, but more importantly, the rest of life!
