The personal training program at Central Penn Fitness Center and Aquatics is a perfect 10 out of 10. It has absolutely met my expectations and helped me improve my balance while feeling better about myself overall—even though I know I still have a journey ahead.
One of the most valuable things I’ve learned is the importance of consistency. Progress doesn’t come overnight, but with slow and steady effort, I’ve started to see real changes. The sessions are both engaging and enjoyable. My trainer, Sam Ames, is incredibly supportive and always makes me feel like I’m moving forward. While I sometimes want to push myself harder, Sam knows just how much to challenge me—enough to grow, but not so much that I risk doing too much too soon.
I plan to continue training because I don’t want to return to the shape I was in before. After every session, I feel better both physically and mentally—not overly tired, but clearly improving. Looking ahead, I’d love to focus more on building stamina and improving my balance, with the goal of eventually riding my bike again.
This has been the best thing I’ve done for myself in a long time, and I highly recommend Sam as a trainer.
