Our trainers at Central Penn Health & Fitness are educated and certified through reputable fitness organizations. They will assess your fitness level, assist with goal setting, and then develop an exercise plan to help you reach your desired results and keep you motivated.
Whether you want to lose weight, build lean mass, improve cardiovascular function or just improve your overall health, hiring a personal trainer is a step in the right direction.
Building lean muscle is an important part of improving overall health and fitness. Lean muscle speeds up metabolism so you burn more calories and store less fat. Plus, the extra muscle helps give you the ability to do more exercises so you keep getting healthier. However, to reach that point you need to know how to get started. Your trainer can help you set up a program based on your personal goals that teaches you the best way to exercise to achieve those goals.
Your chances of injury during personal training are reduced as compared to non-supervised exercise. Your trainers make sure that they demonstrate each exercise, so that you know how to perform the exercise safely and gain maximum benefit from the workout. They will also help you adhere to your program (studies have shown that personal trainers can help people stick to their exercise routines more effectively than they would on their own).
Our trainers provide:
Each session lasts 45 minutes. The first meeting is devoted to assessing your beginning level of fitness, testing your body composition, and documenting your health history and exercise goals. Sessions will consist of a cardiovascular exercise, weight training and exercises for flexibility. Your routine will be developed using an organized approach to training that involves progressive cycling of various aspects of training.
