Join the Party Watch a Zumba® Class
The Zumba® program fuses Latin rhythms, international music, and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system. The routines combine fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body to achieve a blended balance of cardio and muscle toning benefits. Zumba® makes exercise fun and enjoyable. It's the best party around!
How many calories does a Zumba® class burn?
An average class will burn from 400 to 700 calories! You can burn more or less, depending on your intensity and fitness level. Please feel free to talk with your Zumba® instructor to help you get maximum results.
What type of flooring do you have at Central Penn Health and Fitness?
When doing any kind of group exercise that involves impact, it is important that you workout out on a shock absorbent wood floor. CPHFC has a special hardwood aerobic floating floor manufactured by Boflex. The floor absorbs shock from your joints and knees. Our 2,000-square-foot studio includes air-conditioned comfort, and we also have a brand new sound system. The special speakers, stereo amp, and large sub-woofer help enhance the Latin beat to make your exercise experience the best in Harrisburg!

Trainer Profile
Kim Heck
My philosophy as a personal trainer is that we all must find the right balance. This means balance with muscular strength, physical endurance, nutrition, flexibility & rest. All of my clients come to me with different goals and different needs. It is my job to get all of these components back in balance, with the appropriate intensity in each category to achieve the goals set for each person.
