De-stress

We offer two types of yoga at CPHFC. Hatha Flow is taught by instructors Meena and Jessica, and Vinyasa Flow is taught by instructor Kara.

Hatha Flow

This class is about comforting, relaxing, and de-stressing through yoga poses and breath work, that relax your body and mind and calm your whole being. It's a relaxing and rejuvenating class that is perfect for people who have had a tough day at work or at home. This class is for all levels – the poses can be done by anybody at any skill level of yoga. Experience an hour of rejuvenation that will transform your day. Yoga asanas (postures) are best for stretching & relaxing your whole body.

Vinyasa Flow

There is a natural flow of energy that travels through us when we practice yoga. This is like an electric current that touches every cell. As the connective tissue of the body opens up, the blockages that prevent energy from flowing are released. Kara's classes involve synchronizing the breath with movement to calm and focus the mind. The practice involves a progressive series of postures (asanas) which are placed in a special way (vinyasa). In effect, internal heat is produced to detoxify muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body and a calm mind, while increasing overall strength, stamina, and flexibility.
